READY FOR THE UNEXPECTED!
In recent years, Puerto Rico has faced an increase in the frequency and impact of hurricanes, storms, power outages, and technical failures, directly affecting the continuity of many operations.
At American Petroleum, we have been supporting our clients in these scenarios for years, providing reliable and timely supply solutions. We reinforce that commitment with services that strengthen their preparedness for any contingency.

At American Petroleum, we offer flexible fuel management solutions such as storage tanks, portable stations, and distribution trucks. Depending on your type of operation, we help you identify the equipment and capacity that best fit your situation.
In case of an emergency, it is important to calculate the fuel consumption needed to operate for 48 to 72 hours. If you have multiple delivery points and no fleet of your own, you can rent a truck to load at our terminal and handle your own routes. If your operation is stationary, a service station on wheels equipped with a pump, meter, and dispenser allows you to distribute fuel directly from your business.
Once your request is submitted, we will schedule a call to learn about your needs, assign a representative, and evaluate your facilities. In emergency situations, it is difficult to process new registrations, so we recommend doing this in advance to ensure we can assist you.
FUEL AND LUBRICANT DELIVERY REQUEST
Please specify the most accurate quantity possible in gallons and the type of fuel (gasoline or diesel). This information determines which type of truck will be assigned to your delivery. An incorrect estimate may affect the driver’s route and cause delays.
Note: Orders of less than 100 gallons carry an additional transportation fee.
The price will be provided by your representative prior to delivery. Once the delivery is completed, you will receive a Delivery Slip via the email provided. The invoice will be sent within the next 24 to 48 hours.
For questions related to billing or payments, you may contact your sales representative or email info@americanpetroleumpr.com.
If the generator is located on a second floor, basement, or another level, this must be specified so that the team is prepared with the necessary resources, such as ladders or special adapters.
Please verify that your account representative has the correct and updated address in the system. This helps avoid errors or delays in the delivery.
It is important to know the distance from where the truck can park to the generator or storage tank. This information ensures that the delivery team has the appropriate hose length.
Keep your account representative’s name and phone number for any clarifications regarding pricing, conditions, or delivery follow-up.
