Do you know your Account Representative?

MAKE SURE YOUR ACCOUNT IS ACTIVE

An active account has a minimum of one delivery in the past 12 months. Why a year? Many customers change addresses or have adjustments in their facilities and delivery details. For the best emergency management, it is important that our drivers recognize your facility and the equipment required for delivery, and that our accounting team has the details of your account updated.

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AT THE TIME OF A NATURAL DISASTER

INFORMATION TO REQUEST
A DELIVERY

It’s important to specify the amount of product you need as accurately as possible. The volume indicates which truck will go to the location and if the gallonage is miscalculated, it affects the driver’s route and will impact other customers. Orders of less than 100 gallons carry a transportation fee.

Sometimes, the generator or storage tank is far from where the truck can park. It’s important that you are clear about the footage of the hose required for your delivery.

Each location carries with it a set of complexities that are important to consider at the time of delivery; in this case, if a generator is on a 2nd or 3rd floor, we must know to understand hose length requirements and confirm the customer has a ladder that can be used for access.

Be sure to indicate the delivery address to your account representative so they can verify that everything is correct in the system and there are no problems at the time of dispatch.

When dispatching the product, you will receive a Bill of Lading or Delivery Confirmation Document directly to the email provided in your initial account application. 24-48 hours later, you will receive an invoice to the same email. The account representative will share the price of the product, and any questions related to payments can be written to your salesperson or to pagos@americanpetroleumpr.com

Your Account Representative will provide the fuel price and transportation costs if applicable. It’s important that you note this down to avoid confusion at the time of billing.

DELIVERY TIME AND PRIORITIES

Delivery time in case of emergencies

On a regular day, you can request service 24 hours before you want to receive the product, and we will do our best to deliver. However, in case of emergencies, your order must arrive at least 36 hours before the day you need it, as due to the high volume of calls and orders, we don’t want to be unable to serve you.
If you need to cancel your order, please do so in advance to allow us the opportunity to accommodate other customers.

How do I ensure priority in case of an emergency?

In case of an emergency, many customers contact us to ensure that we consider them a priority. For us, all our customers are a priority.
Still, in cases of high demand, we follow emergency management protocols where the health, food, and government industries are attended to as a priority.
Then, customers with active accounts, payments up to date, and calls in advance will be served.
