WHAT IS IT?

A fleet card is a type of payment card that allows businesses to manage fuel expenses for vehicles they own and operate by purchasing gasoline or diesel from the AMERICAN network of gas stations.

Unlike other payment methods, fleet cards are easy to use, let you control when, where, what, and how much your drivers spend and keeps you aware of what’s happening with your fleet.

This grants you more control over driver spending, tracking and managing of fuel expenses across multiple vehicles and drivers so you can avoid surprises on your bill while becoming more efficient and smarter in the way you manage your company’s fuel expenses.

HOW DOES IT WORK

THE PROGRAM

The fleet card can only be used for company vehicle fuel expenses made in the American Gasoline Corp. network of gas stations. It will replace other payment methods when purchasing gasoline or diesel. Although this card can be used to purchase lubricants, it cannot be used to purchase convenience store items.

The Fleet Card works in two ways, credit or cash (pre-paid). You can decide which method works best for your company.

JOIN THE PROGRAM

HOW DO I APPLY?

Anyone and any business, whether small or large, can apply to the Fleet Card Program. You can fill out our cash or credit applications and once approved you can start using your Fleet Card.

Once we receive the credit application, we will do the necessary vetting. Upon qualification, you will receive a contract. If you accept the terms and conditions of the account, you’ll receive your fleet cards which you can use in any of the American Gasoline Corp. gas stations around the island.

INVOICING & PRE-PAYMENT

CREDIT
Similar to a credit card, a credit-based terms of payment for your fleet card means you will receive invoices with a detailed description of the total consumption of fuel by your fleet that is due for payment.

PRE-PAID (CASH)
Pre-paid fuel cards are reloadable cards. You will select the number of cards needed for your fleet, you then deposit money onto each card. You will only get notifications if balances drop significantly so you can deposit more money.
