OUR FLEET

Our fleet of gasoline and diesel tanks and trucks in Puerto Rico has a wide variety of models for the distribution of clean fuels.

Through this fleet we can serve all kinds of customers in the south and west coast, from the plant in Barrio Calzada, Mercedita Sector of Ponce and customers in the north and east area from Toa Baja.

In addition, our fleet allows us to provide services to the smaller Caribbean islands through Royal Petroleum Corp. since it has more than 200 ISO tanks specially designed for maritime transportation of fuels.

Finally, we have small trucks that are designed for small deliveries and complicated dispatches due to their difficult access.

To whom do we deliver gasoline and diesel with our trucks and tanks?

Having our own fleet of gasoline and diesel tanks and trucks in Puerto Rico allows us to ensure that each delivery arrives at the indicated place and time, in order to maintain excellence and efficiency in the distribution of the product. Customer service is our primary goal.

Gasoline and diesel tanks for storage tanks

Most of the equipment in our fleet can deliver to storage tanks. Deliveries can be by meter when you do not know exactly how much needs to be delivered, or by using pumping equipment if you have a clear volume requirement.

Gasoline and diesel truck for heavy equipment

This service is provided specifically using meter trucks, as heavy equipment tends to have a more variable need for the volume required. Our trucks go directly to your project or facility and dispatch using sleeve and pistero.

Diesel tankers for diesel fleets

Similar to heavy equipment delivery, this service is done using a smaller truck or diesel tank with a meter system, pump, chute and pumper to dispense smaller quantities of fuel. This service is key to maximizing efficiency on your project.

To diesel generators

American distinguishes itself by extending services not only to the industrial sector of Puerto Rico’s economy, but also to the commercial and residential sectors. Whether you have a diesel generator with an industrial capacity of more than 1,000 gallons or a smaller one of less than 100 gallons, our team is ready to deliver.

FLEET CARD

Through our fleet card service, all customers who manage their own fleet of vehicles can make fuel purchases at AMERICAN-branded stations.

Our gasoline and diesel tanks and trucks in Puerto Rico

1,000 GALLONS

Dodge all terrain truck with 1,000-gallon tank with pump and meter for diesel deliveries in hard to reach places that require a 4×4 vehicle. Also for deliveries to power plants or small capacity tanks on construction projects.

It can reach tanks or directly to construction equipment or fleet/transportation equipment. It has a dedicated space with equipment for handling possible spills at sensitive sites, such as docks.

1,500 GLS - EMERGENCIES

Navistar 4×4 all-terrain truck with a 1,500-gallon capacity. Equipped with meter, pump, fire extinguishers and lights, it is used to deliver diesel fuel to remote locations with difficult access such as construction projects or hard-to-reach emergency plants.

It is ready for day and night service and can be used to deliver to aboveground tanks or directly to fleet units or emergency power generators.

Heavy Fuel Distributor | American Petroleum

2,400 GALLONS

Kenworth with 2,400-gallon diesel tank. It has a pump and meter and can offload diesel fuel to underground and above ground tanks. With a meter, it can make partial deliveries or deliveries by compartment for a predetermined fixed amount.

Its size allows it to reach sites where space is limited. Typically used on construction projects, above ground tanks, farms, fleet vehicles and deliveries to emergency power plant fuel tanks.

4,000 GALLONS

Mack truck equipped with 4,000 gallons for diesel deliveries. It is equipped with a pump and meter and can unload diesel fuel to underground and aboveground tanks. With a meter, partial or compartment deliveries can be made by pre-determined fixed quantity.

Its size allows it to reach sites where space is limited. Typically used in construction projects, above ground tanks, farms, fleet vehicles and deliveries to emergency power plant fuel tanks.

6,000 GALLONS

6,000-gallon Kenworth has a meter and pump for delivery to storage tanks and facilities requiring larger quantities of fuel. Can deliver to above and below ground tanks exclusively for diesel product.

10,000 GALLONS

Kenworth T-800 truck with 10,000-gallon gasoline and diesel tank for transport to service stations, marine vessels or industrial tanks. Serves large underground and aboveground tanks. It is equipped with unloading pump.

6,000 GALLONS ISO TANK

Portable gasoline and diesel tank for marine transportation to nearby islands. They are equipped with their own drags and can be used as temporary storage facilities. A truck from our fleet tows the tank.
