PRECISION XL EP2 from Petro-Canada Lubricants are premium performance, long-life, multi-application greases formulated to reduce operating costs and provide extended service protection over a wide range of operating temperatures.

Performance of PRECISION XL EP2

Its use is recommended for lubricating heavy duty and general purpose bearings operating at low or high speeds. They can be used instead of PRECISION XL EP1 greases in wet environments, as their consistency is thicker.

The operating range is –20 °C to 160 °C (-4 °F to 320 °F).

This product is designed for use in difficult operations, such as heavy duty, shock loaded equipment in industrial plants or in off-highway operations.

Specific uses for PRECISION XL EP2 include the following:

  • Wheel bearings, including those with disc brakes.
  • Chassis points, water pumps and steering linkages.
  • Low to medium speed gear
  • Bearings for crushers and ball mill conveyors.
